Accu-Flo Meter Service started over 40 years ago supplying flow and meter products. Since then, they have expanded to separate divisions which include products, meter inspection and servicing, electrician services, and manufacturing.
However, while they had grown significantly for years, they were simply known as flow meter company, and their brand reach needed to expand to the other divisions.
Implementing & Executing Solutions
While Accu-Flo's divisions operated under one roof, the divisions needed a concise brand message for each service and product offering, as each division's customer base was very different. The company had previously engaged primarily with Downstream Petroleum industries but had more recently expanded into the Municipal, C&I, Agriculture, Food and Beverage, and Industrial sectors.
As with many industrial companies, having a full-time marketing team is challenging for small to medium-sized businesses due to budget restraints. With these limitations, we work directly with Accu-Flo's vendors for the heavy lifting to update and add product info on the website to ensure we have the most up-to-date information.
Web, Online Ordering & Email Marketing
Accu-Flo's website at the time had been developed in the early days of the web and had yet to be updated in years. We created a website with four sections representing the four divisions that included detailed information about the vendor's products they carry. The addition of new products was announced via email marketing campaigns. We also created an on-line ordering system using Magento where they could provide clearance items that can be pushed to eBay and Amazon in bulk with the click of a button.
SEO & other Strategies
It's been almost four years since we started an immersive SEO program with Accu-Flo. We've seen substantial improvements in the various rankings of product keywords that land on Google and Bing's first page. A handful of organic searches have handed Accu-Flo significant contracts and increased record sales of sought-after products.
SEO continues to be our number 1 service offering to Accu-Flo and other clients.
Video Production
Accu-Flo had us create videos incorporating each division, their products, and services. We also produced a video for Manufacturing Week, celebrated annually across Canada.
